Eiderdown is a true treasure of nature: In winter, it provides intense warmth thanks to its exceptionally high insulation performance; in summer, the fine "arms" fold in at higher humidity, reducing volume – and thus the heat output. This sensitive climate adaptation makes eiderdown unique. In Iceland, it is collected ecologically sustainably & without disturbance – by hand from abandoned nests of the protected eider ducks – and carefully processed.
Our three-chamber pillow combines super soft eiderdown on the outside with a supportive feather core – for a velvety lying surface with stable neck support. The pillow is covered with a very fine, silver-colored cotton batiste from Christian Fischbacher. Since eiderdown is naturally light brown, the silver-gray batiste provides a calm, elegant look.
