The Barleycorn Pit Cloth
A design with history: The dark and somber design of this cloth has a very specific reason: These black pit cloths were formerly used in mining. The miners used the cloth for drying during their daily wash. Due to the dark colors, the black coal dirt was not immediately visible. Nowadays, the classic household cloth is indispensable. Chefs appreciate the cloth because it is extremely robust and absorbent.
The kitchen cloth is available in 3 color schemes. Black as the base tone combined with natural, white, or gray. The so-called red "reminder stripe" in the border is of course not missing.
