Eiderdown is a rare natural treasure: In winter, it provides intense warmth thanks to its exceptionally high insulation performance; in summer, the fine "arms" lay flat at higher humidity and reduce the volume – for less heat output. This sensitive climate adaptation makes eiderdown unique. In Iceland, it is collected ecologically sustainably & without disturbance by hand from abandoned nests and carefully refined – for exceptional durability.
Our warm winter duvet (OOOO warmth points) starts at about 520 g filling weight depending on size (135/140 × 200 cm). The box construction (from 5 × 8 squares, 1 cm internal rib) keeps the filling evenly in place and prevents cold bridges. The precious down lies in a cover made of 100% silk from Christian Fischbacher – optionally elegant Paisley jacquard or calm UNI silk: feather-light, breathable, skin-friendly, and luxurious.
Note on appearance: Eiderdown is naturally medium brown; the light silk cover (silver/beige finish, depending on version) ensures a homogeneous, elegant overall look. Please specify desired Paisley or UNI in the order comment.
